New Chief Financial Officer Joins GTI Team

Gas Technology Institute (GTI) announced today that Jim Ingold has joined the company as the new Vice President of Finance, Treasurer, and Chief Financial Officer. His responsibilities include the optimization of financial activities across the organization, managing GTI’s equity interests and investments, maintaining a broad risk management program, developing business plans, and overseeing the treasury function.

Ingold comes to GTI from CouponCabin.com, where he served as Chief Financial Officer. In this role at the private-equity backed organization, he managed all financial activities of the company including banking relationships, financial planning and modeling, sales analysis, reporting and treasury.
Prior to that, Ingold had wide-ranging experience with positions as Chief Financial Officer at CastleRock Security, Inc.; Vice President, Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer at iPCS Wireless, Inc.; Corporate Controller at Littelfuse, Inc.; and Director of Accounting at FleetPride, Inc.. He worked his way through positions of increasing responsibility at Pactiv Corporation (Tenneco Packaging), and started his career as an auditor at Deloitte and Touche, LLP. During his career, he has played a lead role in formulating re-capitalization strategy and positioning a company for public offering, as well as in the negotiation, due diligence, transition process and financial integration of new acquisitions.
Ingold earned a B.S. degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana, Illinois, and an M.B.A. in Finance from DePaul University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is a member of the Illinois CPA Society.
