Frontier Energy is a professional services firm delivering energy efficiency, market transformation, and transportation solutions. The company brings together complementary strengths and experience to offer a comprehensive slate of expertise across diverse markets to drive growth and positive environmental impact. The team offers strong qualifications in residential building energy efficiency, commercial foodservice, alternative transportation, codes and standards, and specialty technology focus areas.

“In the rapidly evolving energy efficiency and technical consulting business it is critical to find new ways to creatively address challenges,” says Ron Snedic, President of GTI International. “Frontier Energy will provide exceptional services, programs, and tools that encourage the intelligent use of energy to preserve resources for current and future generations.”

Backed by the strong reputation and legacies of its divisions— Fisher-Nickel, Davis Energy Group, and BKi, as well as the technical expertise and partner network of ultimate parent company GTI—the company’s knowledge-based offerings will leverage decades of experience to deliver differentiated products and services.

Larry Brand is leading the new company as its president. Having served as an R&D Director at GTI and President of Davis Energy Group, Brand has over 30 years of experience in energy efficiency research and development, with a focus in building energy management, measured home performance, zero net energy, high-efficiency space conditioning systems, commercial foodservice, combined heat and power, and codes and standards development. He has strong relationships with federal, state, and local government entities as well as state utilities.

“As Frontier Energy, we will maintain our laser focus on serving our customers with expert staff in our current locations,” notes Brand. “We will add to this a larger geographic footprint, a more diverse team of energy professionals, broader services and capabilities, and additional resources to serve our clients in a new and comprehensive manner. Our expanded depth will enable us to build on the strong foundation and business relationships that we already have.”

“We’re really excited about the new opportunities ahead to bring our customers even greater value and impact.”
