U.S. suppliers of services, equipment, and solutions in natural gas utilization and production markets are invited to participate in this opportunity to network and engage with a select Chinese audience and prospective buyers hand-picked by the National Energy Administration (NEA) of China.

This workshop is focused on advanced products, technologies and best practices in two areas:

  • Efficient natural gas utilization in industrial, power, transportation, and commercial markets
  • Shale gas production growth and cost-effective environmental solutions

At this event, you will have the opportunity to introduce your products, services, and experience to Chinese commercial entities and government agencies that are directly involved in developing the growing natural gas market in China. These entities are actively seeking international expertise, products, and services to help build the China gas market. Key topics anticipated at the workshop include but are limited to: natural gas-fueled distributed generation; combined heat and power (CHP); industrial steam, process heating and feedstock applications; natural gas for large-scale power generation; liquefied natural gas (LNG) and its applications in transportation and other small-scale applications; gas utilization for domestic, commercial and institutional applications; environmental solutions for shale gas drilling and completion.

The workshop will also feature a field visit to one of PetroChina’s shale gas production facilities near the city of Yibin. PetroChina also owns over 400 LDCs throughout China.

Sponsored by the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) in cooperation with China’s NEA, and with support from U.S. Department of Energy, Department of Commerce, and Department of State, this 2.5-day workshop is the second of USTDA’s US-China Natural Gas Training Program. The initial workshop took place in Beijing on December 3-4, 2015.
